ward baby shower

Thanks again Daph! You are such an amazing friend.

Quinn dropped in to say hi and check up on me. (and to charm the ladies)

I Love when these two ladies start laughing. You can't help but join them

Ann gave me the most gorgeous chandelier for Lila's room. What a spoiled kid. It's nice to have a friend in the lighting business!

Cute Misty made my diaper cake. She is such a sweetheart!

Picture overload!!! Thanks Daphne for my pictures of the shower! It was so fun. Thank you again for organizing it! Thank you to everyone who came and supported Lila and I. What a great neighborhood !
I tried to get a picture of everyone who was there but didn't get all of you. Thanks again!

Thank you Daphne!!!!!

Thank you to Daphne for throwing me a Ward baby shower!! It was so much fun and a lot of work on her part. Thank you! thank you! Since my camera is broken I didn't get any pictures of who was there (so thank you to all who came to support me!) but I stole this pic from Daphne's blog. At the end of the night after everyone had gone home these three ladies were left chatting. Ann, LaRisse and Daphne have become some of my closest friends. It is amazing how much we have in common, from crazy ex's to the same sense of humor I love chatting and spending time with these ladies. I am so glad that we moved into the neighborhood so I could meet them!

The Bump

The Johnson's gave me pregnancy pictures for my graduation gift and I must admit I was very hesitant to go get them done. But Sara was very persuasive that I would one day want pictures of my bump. I am really glad she was so insistent. Cute Anya did my make-up and made me feel pretty and the photographer was amazing. These are a few of my favorites. I thought they turned out pretty cute. Thank you so much Johnson's!!!

East High reunion (sort of)

Armstrong you count as East High Alumni!

Cute stobbie... Thanks for being goofy with me! Even if everyone else hates it!

I stole these pictures from Liz. Thanks Liz!! This summer has been so fun because girlfriends have been home and I have got to spend some good time with a lot of wonderful ladies that I never get to see. (Even the ladies that live here. We need to do better!!) The first pic is the East high ladies that went to my shower. It is so nice that we all still support each other. The last picture is a day where a group of East ladies met at Laird park (which who knew was the place for mommies to meet?) with all their kids. It was so surreal to see everyone's kids. I don't feel old enough to have a child let alone for some friends to have three!! They were all so cute though! It was so fun.

Calder

One of my favorite pictures of Calder

I had to post this so that I remember it. My nephew Calder has realized that I have "baby Lila" in my tummy, he will look over at me, smile and say "baby Lila". It is the cutest thing. So Ash told me the other day that after a particularly filling meal when Calder's tummy was poking out he smiled and rubbed his tummy and said "Baby Lila". So hilarious! It will be funny when this little girl gets here and he sees and that she is an actual baby and not just a word for a large belly.

July 4th!!!!

Daphne, Ty, Cathi, Abe, Quinn, and a very pregnant Kristi ; )

This fourth we spent the night with the Quist's and the Yospe's watching the Murray fireworks and barbecuing . It was so fun, it reminded me of being a kid when all the neighbor kids started dancing around the fireworks they let off in the street.

It's official!

Look what came in the mail yesterday!!! Yeah!!! My degrees from the University of Utah! I am so excited. A part of me was worried that they would come back and say, oh just kidding you still need one humanities or art credit. So it is official! I am an alumni from the U. That is such a great feeling. Quinn wasn't near excited enough, he absolutely hates playing the "what if" game. He just assumes all will be well, so getting the degrees was old news. He did joke that he is going to call slcc to get his associates printed up so that he can have two degrees on the wall as well ; )
