Having Lila in the hospital has been so rough on me. Ruby, the little stinker, will not take a bottle. I am a nervous mom now and am too scared to take an unvaccinated ( she is suppose to go in on monday ) little newborn to the hospital. I tried to go last night and ruby screamed the whole time for grandma. I am so lucky to have such good family who is willing to help. My mom has been with Lila all day. I know that lila knows my mom and is happy to have her with her. I just wish I could be there to to help comfort her. Hoping she gets out quick!

Two months
This is when I had to change her outfit later. I couldn't resist. Look at that cute little butterball. Don't worry the sticker wasn't sticky anymore. It fell off when she kicked her legs.

The cutest primary patient
Poor little Miss is inpatient again. We've been doing so great and haven't been admitted to primary children's for quite some time. I always knew this day would come, when I would have to juggle being a mom of two and having a sick child. I was just hoping that it would come a little bit later on when Ruby was more independent. It's such a struggle to be torn between two children. Ruby is attached to me but I would love to be with my sick child in the hospital. Hopefully Lila gets better soon. Her electrolytes and potassium are all out of whack so they've been giving her IV fluids. Hopefully tomorrow it will resolve itself. Prayers forLila
The little lady is big enough to be on the children's unit instead of infant unit. It makes it nice cause I can get in bed and snuggle with her

This is the text that I got from Quinn once the doctors told him that lila was being admitted. I'm lucky to have a partner in this crazy special-needs world who can still have a sense of humor when times get tough

Playing and praying
I remember thinking how amazing it would be to have a child who could play with toys. Who would see them and reach for them and enjoy it. Ruby had a lot of fun playing with her big sisters toys today. Just watching her made me grateful.
And poor miss Lila is sick again. I think this is round number four on antibiotics just since Ruby's birth. What a sweetheart. She has pretty much slept for three days straight. They took her blood to see if her immunoglobulins (doesn't that kinda sound like a fake word? ) are off. She might need transfusions. Praying all will be alright with her. This constant Heath roller coaster is making me nervous.

Smiles.
I know I keep posting smiley pictures of Ruby, but this is just such a miracle! Quinn and I just keep pinching ourselves that Ruby can do these things.
A little bit blurry because she's in her swing
