Sleep deprivation

Pretty sure Lila and Ruby are having a contest in who can keep me up the longest in the middle of the night. They are both winning. Hard to stay mad at them when they are both so cute. Especially Miss Lila who can laugh despite being suctioned a million times a night.

Someone is jealous. Geez. She has become one needy dog.

Little miss patient

Lila  has been so incredibly patient since Ruby has come into our lives. Being the great big sister willing to just wait her turn. It does kinda break my heart though when she gets so excited when I can finally devote one on one time with her. At least I know she does enjoy my company. 

One month

That went fast! 

First smiles?

Ruby started to smile today when I was talking to her. It's crazy!!! Maybe it was just a reflex but after waiting months and months for her sister to smile any little smile is treasured.

My sweet aunt Ruth (Nicknamed Ruby) Sent me this adorable pin. She said it was a gift from her high school friend who was the one who gave her the nickname.  She wanted to pass it onto the next Ruby. How touching!!
