Two months

Lila at one month... (I forgot to post this picture)

Lila is two months already. Time flies... She is such a sweetheart. I feel pretty lucky. She is a really good baby, very happy and calm. (I hope I don't jinx myself by saying that) She is still pretty sleepy but when she is awake she loves to look wide eyed at the world around her. You can just tell she is taking it all in.

Lila's blessing day

We blessed Lila today. She is such a little sweetie and did so great. Quinn gave her a beautiful blessing! I felt so thankful to have her and Quinn in my life. They are both so amazing. I am truly a lucky girl to have them. Thank you! Thank you to all who helped and brought food. I am blessed with a wonderful family. (I wish I was able to get a picture of everyone who was there... )

The Deck

Quinn built us the most beautiful deck!!! With help from Bart Caton, who built the foundation we now have the coolest deck to spend our nights. Thanks so much Bart for all your help. You do such great work. Thanks to Josh for helping as well. Good Job Quinn!! It's amazing!

fair time

Kelli and I were laughing so hard trying to get a picture with the sea lions at the fair, never did get the picture.

We went to the fair this weekend. I always get so excited for the fair, it must be from memories of going as a kid. Every year I find that it has lost a bit of it's magic though. Lila was so hot and tired. I don't think that she had as wonderful of an experience as I use to have, maybe in a few years.

Long dark eyelashes

I love Lila's super long eyelashes! They almost look fake. (can you tell I am a brand new mom who is in love with her baby!) Everyone has been noticing them lately and I thought I would capture just how gorgeous they are.

Silver Lake

For Labor day we took a picnic up to Brighton and walked around silver lake. It was gorgeous up there! It reminded me how beautiful Utah really is and how lucky we are to have the mountains so close.

first zoo trip

I forgot a hat, luckily we improvised. Still getting use to being a mom and carrying around tons of gear.

Thanks to the Liston family and my mom for coming. We had a blast with you guys! (not the most flattering picture of me, I know)

The baby elephant was adorable!!

I know, how funny to take Lila to the zoo already, but it has been a bit of a tradition for the Utah based Thomson grand kids to go around six weeks. We had a great time, Lila snoozed most of the trip, but I'm sure she loved her first carousel and train ride.
