one step back.....

Today has been the hardest day by far. Lila had to go back on Oxygen. I got my hopes up way to high that she was coming home and now I am completely devastated. It has been so hard for me not to jump to conclusions. I have been assuming the worst case scenarios and have been driving myself absolutely crazy. So Lila will be in the hospital at least a few more days but more likely she will be there for quite some time.

Kristi, I am so sorry. I know how devastating NICU set back can be. I sure hope Lila comes home soon so you can hold her whenever you want and not have to listen to anyone else tell you what you can and cannot do with your own child. You guys are in my prayers

We are keeping Lila (and you and Quinn) in our prayers. I know that Lila knows you are her parents and can feel how much you love her. Hang in there.

Hang in there Kristi--we will keep praying for you and Lila. It must be so hard to be patient. She is a beautiful baby. I have a good feeling about her condition. This will all be over and she will be healthy and home soon. LOVE YOU GUYS!!

I was sent to your blog by possibly a mutual friend...anywho. We have been dealing with oxygen for over 3 years now...my son has interstitial lung disease (don't google it...you'll only find adult stuff...which isn't the same). If you ever needing any help or have questions about oxygen...here is my blog

Good thing they've checker her lungs and have determined everything is all right in that area. At least we know Lila won't be on oxygen forever.
