July 4th!!!!

This fourth we spent the night with the Quist's and the Yospe's watching the Murray fireworks and barbecuing . It was so fun, it reminded me of being a kid when all the neighbor kids started dancing around the fireworks they let off in the street.

It's official!

Look what came in the mail yesterday!!! Yeah!!! My degrees from the University of Utah! I am so excited. A part of me was worried that they would come back and say, oh just kidding you still need one humanities or art credit. So it is official! I am an alumni from the U. That is such a great feeling. Quinn wasn't near excited enough, he absolutely hates playing the "what if" game. He just assumes all will be well, so getting the degrees was old news. He did joke that he is going to call slcc to get his associates printed up so that he can have two degrees on the wall as well ; )

One thing that I LOVE about my brothers is how animated they get in conversations. Mikey is so expressive and Matt is laughing so hard, and all Mikey was explaining is how to make mush.

Here is (almost) everyone. This is the picture that I died when I saw it. Who knew I had gotten so big???!!! Isn't it amazing how you can be so clueless until you see a picture of yourself? sad. And still five weeks to go!!!

A Thomson summer tradition is to enjoy the gorgeous canyons of Utah. This week we went up to millcreek canyon and had a BBQ. We had a blast. It was so nice to enjoy the family and the outdoors.
I just could not believe how big my belly is!!! I truly hadn't noticed a change until I saw these pics and just about died. Then I walked into work today and everyone was blown away by my large belly. I guess that means Lila is growing, which is wonderful but I'm getting a little nervous. Just five weeks to go!

The Drive in!!!

um..... I have some seriously funny siblings!

Nothing says summer to me more than the drive in!!! I LOVE the drive in. I use to go to the drive in every year for my birthday parties as a kid. It is just so magical! So last week the whole fam went and saw Karate kid. We had a blast, especially when Nicky got pumped up in the end and started to do his own version of karate.

Thanksgiving Point

While my brother was here we went to the dinosaur museum and to the gardens at thanksgiving point. I had never been. They are gorgeous! I am glad though that we got a golf cart, I don't think I could have waddled my way around the whole thing!

Thank you to my wonderful friends for throwing me a fun baby shower!!! You all are such great moms and friends and I feel so blessed to have you in my life. Thank you for spoiling Lila! She will be the best dressed, monitored, bathed, diapered, swaddled, warm & bejeweled kid on the block!!

Quinn's new toy...

I had to share this because I think it is too funny! So for the past few years Quinn has been obsessed with Dyson vacuums! He knows all about James Dyson and his inventions and has been coveting them for quite some time. I know that if I loose him in Target all I have to do is go to the vacuum section and he will be eyeballing the Dysons will longing. So one day he had had enough and picked one up at Home Depot. I have never seen him so happy to clean. He has been vacuuming with passion. He even went as far as saying that he thinks vacuuming should be his job alone. Pretty darn hilarious. I never knew a man could be so in love with a vacuum.
